This is a 79 Monte Carlo Landau. The vinyl roof is on the front 3/4 of the roof in 79 and the back 1/4 in 78. The wide bright molding runs from front to back on the 79. The 78's runs from front wheel well to back wheel well. Also the 79 side marker and tail lights are 1 piece where the 78 is t pieces. |

This generation of Monte Carlo just doesn't look right squeezed down into a smaller car. It'd be like shrinking down a Cadillac DTS to the size of a Chevy Aveo. |

This is my favorite generation of Monte Carlo. Brings back good memories of Midnight Club 3 on the PSP. |
