Australian (and many European) funeral coaches are conversions of ready-made cars. The commercial chassis to be completed by individual coachbuilders is rather uncommon outside of the US, with the Mercedes-Benz E-Class extended chassis (VF 123/ 124/ 210 etc., stretched by Binz for MB) being the only exception I can think of right now. Above we see Australian hearse collector Graeme Lemin's car. It is in fact unknown who built it, even though it looks a bit Hadley-esque to me. Graeme, if you happen to read this: Any updates on the coachbuilder? |
