The type 1 has 5 spokes, and a later pope nose license plate light, but that distance it is hard to tell if it has pre 63 tail lights id say 52-63 beetle becuse of the licenselight and rear window |

darn im gonna have to possibly correct myself lol its definatly pre 67 because of the 5 spoke wide 5 lug wheels but if i squint the tail lights look like possibly as late as a 67, and i typoed on the year range 58 was the 1st year for the large rear window, but maybe someone can tell by the size of the side windows, they look big to be a 58 or so era, i think they made the windows bigger in later years near 67. also 67 had early bumpers like that and later headlight rings, but it could have rossis on it as a accessory so u cant be sure from that blurred pic, i can not tell the tailight license light or healight type now that i take a 2nd take, but the rear window and wide 5 wheels definatly place it 58-67 |

Actually, the vertical rear numberplate and the vertical headlights combined with these bumpers identify a 1967 model year 1500 ( the only engine available that year in the US ). The vertical headlights were introduced in 1967 for US spec Beetles. |
