This car was based on the Magnette and the Riley but it is a "Siam Di Tella 1500". |

After Siam Di Tella was bought by IKA in 1964, the 1500s were upgraded to 1622cc with ADO38 facelift and renamed under Morris, MG and Riley branding. I can trace names as Morris 1650 and MG Magnette 16/22, maybe also MG Magnette 1650, but no idea how solid these references are. Also in this view alone I've no idea how to separate any of the ADO9-based Siam Di Tellas or the ADO38 versions. So are there other views or is it a known car to support why entered as MG 1650?? |

I can't see anything definite, but I'm not expert on the Argentine details. Looks like a column gear change, and I'd guess radio and lockable glovebox would be mid-late 60s so ADO38 period more likely. |
