The Polish ones were made with side strips too, but if you say that only Polish, 5-door ones were to meet without them, then I don't have counter-argument. Looking at the years of second hand cars, it could be case of some very late ones, when there was already available also version with body colored bumpers (which was IMO more easy to meet without side strips). |

I haven't precise sources of this, I'm basing this mainly on observations: I'm 100% sure that the entire Italian-made Uno range from 1989 to 1995 came with side mouldings as standard while later Polish-made cars are (at least some versions) without them (except the rebranded Innocenti Mille Clip for Italy which has a larger side-bumper) ![]() |
