This is a 1932 Studebaker convertible sedan, probably a Model 71 Commander (125 in. wb), as it doesn't look big enough to be a Model 91 President (135 in. wb). It could as well be a Model 54 Six or a Model 62 Dictator (both 117 in.wb). The Dictator,Commander and President were all eights. The oval headlights and veed single bar bumper were used from 1931 to 1933. There were no convertible sedans in the 1931 model year and the 1933 cars had a more sloped radiator. If it were surviving today this would be a very rare car. -- Last edit: 2007-08-29 11:18:12 |
