Ok, well I did some body work on a rot box '88 Suburban back in my High School days and I remember it had side by side headlights. And I looked up 1988 Chevy Suburban on Google Images, and on Flickr, and both side by side and stacked are showing up. I always thought GM completely ditched the stacked head lights design after the '87 model year. |

Maybe they were replacements? Because I looked through four pages of google images for a 1988 Suburban and only found one with the side by side headlights. Maybe those were replacements too or the caption is wrong. But then again, a few other Suburbans from various generations also popped up on my search... |

Either that, or the particular Suburban I worked on was made in '88 as an '89 model. I'm looking at photos too, and finding more stacked then side by sides. Oh well, I guess I was wrong. |
