According to the article, the Centre was also partly involved in the development of the Micra K11 and Primera P10, and the hatchback version of the Primera seems to be an exclusive UK-design: The Independent, 24 July 1993 wrote The Bluebird's successor, the Primera, was also largely designed in Japan, though the NETC did have a role in making it feel more European.
