The '74 New Yorker used this same body, but starting with the 1976 model year, it used the old Imperial body and did not come as a 4-door sedan, only a hardtop. The '74 New Yorker used this same body, but starting with the 1976 model year, it used the old Imperial body and did not come as a 4-door sedan, only a hardtop. The subject car is a true sedan ("B" pillar and window frames).
