Choice is Mini City E or 1000 HLE, both having lots of black trim. 1000 HLE became Mayfair in Oct 82 and rediscovered chrome, so only a short opportunity. City E continued, but this one has twin coachlines below windows so I think 1000 HLE which was the top version at this point and the City E was probably a bit too poverty to appeal to J Mini fans. No official J imports until 1986, but there was a backdoor route and this has been slightly "Japanesed" for wing indicators and received racy wheels.
