Brrrr, couldn't they use a Diesel Audi or another modern car? That wouldn't had changed the story. But no, they used a classic. |

Well, what do you expect? It's Hollywood. They don't see these cars as witnesses of time or anything, but just as objects for smashing. "Old stuff needs to be cleaned out!" that's their maxime. |

They actually damaged a valuable classic Mustang in an instantly forgettable and cringy family-oriented Netflix movie about a bunch of kids who want to save the planet from an alien invasion? ![]() |

They also destroyed a freshly classic Jeep (Grand) Wagoneer in a cringly Netlix remake of The Happening: /vehicle_1217830-Jeep-Grand-Wagoneer-SJ-1987.html The Grand Cherokee of course, equipped with the latest GPS and distance sensors, doesn't get as much as a scratch... |

Oh, that's just brilliant ![]() Who gave them these classics? |

^ That Wagoneer was just a minor damage, there is some CGI crash into it. The damage keep changing, not a total lost. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LXJXGUf2qDM It doesn't matter how old or rare car Hollywood use, as long you give them money they can wreak whatever they want. For this case it's still repairable, not really a big deal. Only big problem is it won't be the same way again (not original condition from factory). -- Last edit: 2019-05-28 16:30:20 |
