No. Probably a Beetle-based kit-car. |

The countmobile was built on one of those replicars that "looked" like a 37 Jaguar SS100. It was VW based if memory is working. |

But this cobblework above is not a Jaguar SS-replica. It's not more than some "Wannabe-30ies-sportscar-looking"-trash than a serious replica. There are some quite authentic looking, but this junk doesn't belong to them. |

Looks like this one that claims to be a replica of a 1934 Frazer Nash: http://carclassicszone.com/1821/1934-frazer-nash-vw-kit-car-6000 Doesn't say who made the kit. |

The Fraser Nash one might be this: Link to "vwkitcars.com" The same firm made a Jag rep but I can only find one based upon a Pinto/Bobcat: Link to "www.ebay.co.uk" |

Surely this is such a dorky piece of junk that the name of Frazer Nash should be in parentheses or better, inverted commas. This is what it should look like: - https://www.bonhams.com/auctions/17261/lot/205/ -- Last edit: 2021-01-11 12:36:11 |
