As the film was filmed in Central Scotland, venue might be National Museum of Flight at East Fortune Airfield, East Lothian. But no clue whether they have a pet Scorpion. |

My scintilla of doubt is caused by not being able to see the front of the vehicle reliably enough, even at maximum brightness. Some CVR(T) variants had a sixth wheel station, but my memory, now somewhat less reliable than it used to be, is that this was the Stormer load carrier. This was not equipped with a turret, and as I have now been retired from Alvis and its successor company for 11 years the details are fading and I have no means of reviving them. -- Last edit: 2019-06-02 08:37:59 |
