johnfromstaffs ◊ 2019-06-05 11:25	Perhaps a bit of a re-think is needed here since the car is carrying a County of Surrey registration that was current from Sept 1940 to June 1941. That is odd inasmuch as the British motor industry was not producing much that wasn’t for the war effort at that time, and new cars were unobtainable. The car should therefor be a Series III, but doesn’t really look like one, perhaps it’s the camera angle. The single spotlight suggests a 12/48.
