FX is the model designation of the initial postwar Holdens. It was replaced by the FJ model in 1950,with a revised front, grille and a larger rear window. 48-215 was General Motor's Holden code for the FX , 48 being year of release 1948 and 215 the factory development code. As another example , FJ panel van released in 1950 would carry the 50-2106 code , 50 being year of release and 2106 factory development code. |
