Looks like 311-0 Standard Limousine, BUT could be not named exactly this way if it is still pre-serial car. Worth to add that in very early article from 1956 in Polish magazine "Młody Technik" (written in cooperation with German "Jugend und Technik" ) early "311" with reg. plate LL 00-31 was named EMW 311 "Wartburg", where "Wartburg" was written in such way, like it would be still not so official name at this time. |

I don't know that. According to this site, the early 'Wartburgs' with EMW badges were from late 1955 and early 1956: Link to "wiki.w311.info" EDIT: the first 311 was built on 18 october 1955: http://www.edwfc.de/Wartburg-Typen_W311 -- Last edit: 2019-06-20 20:28:03 |

Nice, on pics is the same car what mentioned earlier with the LL 00-31 reg. plate. They wrote "Winter/Frühjahr 1955/1956" - I suspect that they are not sure are these pics from early (turn of winter and spring) 1955 or 1956(?). If from 1955, it can confirms that only pre-serials (or even prototypees) were named EMW. |
