Why E-350.....could be a 1996 E-Super Duty [E-450]. Please don’t add the chassis unless you are 100% sure. |

1. Made for CDN 2. This doesn't seem like a ex-ambulance. Maybe a former utility truck (City Of Toronto?) 3. There really isn't a reason to be such a painfully strict stickler when it comes to details, especially enforcing a very generic designation on E-Series vans on weirdly arbitrary (AKA i didn't determine it myself so it's wrong and must be defaulted) which you LOVE to do and doesn't make things any more easier to sort out. |

1. I didn't add Ex-ambulance to the extra information. 2. I don't appreciate your rudeness or behavior. All I have dver done is question your comments and ask for evidence supporting what you wrote. I am just trying to inform other admins/contributers to not blatantly add [E-350] to every DRW Econoline/E-Series as we have documented proof in 1996 Ford introduced the E-Super Duty [E-450] chassis and in 1999 the name was changed to E-450. Without a view of the badge/axles/chassis it is a moot point. 3. We are a reference site/database. If we have inaccurate information people use it. We(our site) has been referenced in article(s) before. Having an inaccurate or incorrect database can be horribly misleading. Sorry if you feel I'm being a stickler but if I don't police these they will all be mislabled as [E-350] when in reality they could be an E-Super Duty [E-450]. |

I didn't say that you added "Ex-Ambulance" to this entry, I was just saying that it doesn't SEEM like a ex-ambulance and questioned where it may have originally come from. Not to mention, and I admit this may seem paranoid to most people, but it seems odd how it just so happens all of your corrections tend to contradict educated designations that I mentioned and these things get "corrected" 1000x faster than other things me and other users up here have pointed out for quite a while (sometimes over two years.) I wasn't even saying that being precise is a bad thing, I was saying that constantly demoting everything to the most generic designation because of the fact that you personally cant verify things down to the exact letter using hard to find documentation or documentation that doesn't tell the entire story isn't as helpful as it seems, especially since when people reference the site they also read comments on the page to understand more about the vehicle in question so it's not like i'm the only person contributing information here. Unless you assume I must be guessing on all of my entries since I don't save a document full of constantly updating links and post them as evidence on every entry or don't explain every single thought that I have when determining a vehicle so you assume i'm just half assing it all the time and everything i'm saying must be disregarded. I'm honestly starting to think this is something personal, especially since i haven't really seen you do this with other users on the site. I'm not attacking you or even trying to be rude, i'm just starting to get the feeling you're intentionally waiting for me to post something so you can correct me considering how fast you come in questioning everything I say, and it's starting to feel really personal like you're offended by me or something. |
