I've got a small book photo which might be this car in very old black and white days - has a partly obscured plate ending in 1798. Looks same shape, but has very spindly wire wheels and "siamesed driving lamps" (= silly small headlights). Text suggests 1921, so agrees with 3rd link above and confirms Super Sport as a version of the 1921-22 10.5 (presumably hp), about 60 made with various bodies, including several sporty ones. TA 1798 was a 1921 Devon issue, so not too far from the factory in Bath (Somerset). |
