It's a Series II. A curious detail is the sign on the left: "Conduite à droite". Could it be compulsory then for r.h.d. vehicles driving for a certain period of time in France? |

I'm not sure it was compulsory; I had friends who even in 1956 took their car to France, and I don't recall them having to fit such a sign. It certainly wasn't compulsory for RHD vehicles registered, or even resident, in France. Not a bad idea, though. |
