I agree with @rjluan2. That would make this an F-100. First year for the F-150 name was 1976. EDIT: rjluna2 -- Last edit: 2019-09-11 14:00:41 |

I thought 1975 model year was first to introduced F-150 to circumvent the catalytic converter requirement by reclassified this weight class |

Welp, I guess I was wrong. For 1975, they offered both the F-100 and F-150 model. The F-100 was dropped for '76 and F-150 became the sole half-ton Ford. https://www.lov2xlr8.no/brochures/ford/75frp.html |

F-100 is mentionned in brochures up to 1983 ( i see frequently a 1980 one in auto shows ) but i never understood that 1/2 , 3/4 ton thing.. -- Last edit: 2019-09-11 15:26:08 |

1983 is the last year for the F-100. Just like 1983 is the last year for the Econoline [E-100] Edit: Nada Guide for reference too. 1983: https://www.nadaguides.com/Cars/1983/Ford/Truck - F-100 & E-100 1984: https://www.nadaguides.com/Cars/1984/Ford/Truck - No F-100 or E-100 -- Last edit: 2019-09-11 17:24:33 |
