Former "Dead Eye" drag car, supposedly run by one Steve Hammer in the Seventies/Eighties. Rust Bros. owner Mike Hall says he bought the car for $1500.

Not really a fan of tuning but in this case I actually would have preferred it they had restored it to its drag state.

It may not look like one but the new owner says it still drives like a drag car. :)

I'm pretty sure they restored a different Beaumont, the drag car was extremely rough and would've taken the best shop years to put it back, whereas the restored car is an extremely straight and clean example. Mike had another Beaumont on the lot with that front bumper (slightly bent on passenger side) that was a near rust free example. I think they did some TV magic on it and used a different car for the final product.
