If you like it, Why not import privately?

has to wait for it to turn 25.. ;)

That is the reason you couldn't legally import a Nissan Skyline until after it hit 25. At that time most would be considered classics and not suitable for daily driving.

Same reason we can't import these from Mexico: /vehicles.php?resultsStyle=asImages&yearFrom=1998&yearTo=1999&makeMatch=2&make=Dodge&modelMatch=1&model=Ramcharger&modelInclModel=on&modelInclChassis=on&mk=&origin=&madein=&madefor=&role=

They did not meet US laws and regulations with safety and some do not meet emissions standards.

Edit: Truck_Guy I'm surprised you haven't found any with all the Mexican shows you have uploaded or Afonso on FTWD. :(

i'm surprised they don't meet emission standards, i was expecting them to use same engines as the Ram ( except V10 of course )

Those might. I think those are barred due to safety. I was speaking in general sorry. Some are not allowed for safety and some vehicles don't meet emissions.

It’s very hard to understand how cars as carefully engineered as most modern Hondas fail to meet safety or emissions standards. The early Civics were pretty awful but they quickly changed their ideas and the cars became very desirable.

in this particular case the Honda being RHD could be a safety concern ( Québec did pushed back the RHD cars age limit from 15 to 25 for that reason )

But i'm pretty sure there is some ( a lot ? ) bureucracy in this .. :/

That reminds me, I've sort of been slacking off on Telemundo stuff. I need to get back into it. :)

Maybe with RHD-cars you have in Canada the same problem as we in Continental Europe:
the headlights.
Here it's impossible to get a registration with headlights for left traffic.
An acquaintance had no chance to pass the TÜV inspection with an Australian Ford Falcon - because there was no LHD version of it, you could take the headlights from.
So he had to bring the car back to Britain, where he bought it.

the official version was because of the shoulder check ( among others )
but i'm sure it wouldn't be an issue if the drivers didn't thought of themselves as Fast & Furious stars

funny thing is apart from Skyline, most of the RHD imported ones are available here as LHD ( Toyota Supra, Nissan Fairlady , Toyota Soarer , last two being 300ZX and Lexus SC respectively )

i never thought there would be a difference in LHD and RHD cars lighting..

[CF4] was for 2WD F20B-powered versions only.

Edit : plate data says it's CF5 (2.0 litre 4WD). It also says it's from 1986...
