my granddad had no radio in his 1987 Mercury Topaz, maybe Ford were just to cheap to give one as standard equipment.. |

Maybe granddad had to pay a license fee? Here 1,000 francs tax yearly for a car radio, that was plenty reason not to have one. Abolished now. (converted to other taxes that is) |

wow.. talk about a way to take out money from your citizens pockets.. here you pay for the radio you want from the option list , only fee ( monthly i think ) being if you choose that XM Sirius one that gets in many cars now |
