When the J-cars were introduced, Buick and Oldsmobile only had 3 of the 4 body styles each (Chevy and Pontiac carried all 4). Buick got the 2-door notchback and Oldsmobile got the 3-door hatch. In 1986, they each got the extra bodystyle, The Firenza was available in a 2-door notchback and the Skyhawk a 3-door hatch. Link to "oldcarbrochures.org" |
