Unless 1950 can be justified by explanation I think not. As I have asked on previous occasions when unjustified identifications or dates appear, why?

Another picture of the car appears elsewhere, same numberplate, long boot.

It also appears too high on the front suspension. It does, however, appear to be a kosher Royce, bonnet line correct where it joins the radiator, and square badge (I think) on back bumper.

Right hand drive seems a bit odd for an export model, but it is in HK.

I have spent years cultivating my grumpy image; it has, from time to time, to be justified.

Long boot not introduced until 1952. Model discontinued in 1955.
