Nash.

Too bad it isn't a Hudson Metropolitan. The fact that it's just a Nash Metropolitan seems so ordinary, by comparison.

In the Nancy Drew book series (1970-1980s) Nancy had a white Mustang convertible-what a change-Mustangs are way cooler

Depends on the Mustang, IMO. Any Mustang made since 1973 doesn't qualify.

1973 mustang mach 1 is the best closely followed by 68 fast back. then 64 and 1/2 convertible

Were these books based on the series starring Pamela Sue Martin.

Nancy Drew began as a book series in the 1930s. The books were rewritten and updated from the 1960s onwards.

Yes, but I was asking about the updated versions marionman3138 was referring to.

No hood scoop and no deck lid = '56-'59 Metropolitan 1500.

This one is for sale on eBay right now. Says it's a 1960:

It does have the vent wings which came out for 1959.
We know it can't be a Nash though, since that nameplate disappeared after the 1957 model year.

Actually, this appears to be a '56-'58 model with front door vents added.
