those thing really exist ? i saw a Mini Pick-up ( turned into a tow truck ) at the Montréal Auto Show in 2015 but as it was in the modified cars part of the exhibition, i thought they did it from a regular Mini -- Last edit: 2020-01-01 18:36:11 |

/vehicle.php?id=1335730 Yes. Best online account at the moment (There was a better site but it's vanished, although the link has grabbed a lot of the data). |

They built a lot of hot dog vans on the mini pick-up, the vendor had to stand! |

As discussed on the other sighting page the (Morris) Mascot name for DK may have died in 1969, with rebranding as Mini (as make) Pickup from 1970 as other markets. Seat belts and rectangular metal driver door mirror suggest this is early 70s example (60s mirrors were round - first on wing, then moved to door; late 70s were plastic). |

Morris Mascot Pick-up name now confirmed. Morris Mascot remained the Danish name for all Mini versions until 1981 after the parallel Austin Partner line was dropped in 1969. |
