Contrary to many other Polish movies/series, this one used an actual taxi - this is a valid number, I've been using them for some time and call wholeheartedly recommend them (though not all of their cars are W210s ). |

what are you talking about? |

Interesting tidbit, I guess. Again - normally, taxis used in Polish films and series tend to be fakes, i.e. the names of corporations and phone numbers (and possibly side numbers, i.e. the number under which the taxi is legally registered as such) are fake, so that no particular company is promoted/defamed etc. In this case, this is an actual taxi from an existing taxi company in Warsaw. |

Ah yes yes and why do you put a sad smiley? |

As he wrote, because not all cars from this company are MB W210. It is ELE Taxi, no? I usually use Euro Taxi, lot of different vehicles they have so is interesting. |

I remember we dropped Euro Lux after numerous complaints were placed with our office manager. She collected a long list and sent it to their management demanding contract termination - among the reasons were "drivers stink" (and they literally did, some of them at least ). I personally had more good than bad experiences, but they weren't as good as ELE - I have never had ELE call me back and said they won't make it, the car is always on time. ELE also uses a host of A-Klasse Mercedes' (newer ones, forgot the model designation), but if you're lucky, they also have W140s |

W169. Seems they've already lost these not spinning hubcaps with adverts - that really looked sillily. The W140 - interesting(!), but too big like for me, I usually use taxis alone, so I feel... strange when they are sending a big car, especially vans in sort of Espace, what for? -- Last edit: 2007-10-19 20:35:53 |

I disagree - I love the W140, it really feels like a living room on wheels from the inside. Everything is 1.5 times the regular size, it's great for a bad, rainy day when everything goes wrong I also have nothing against regular-size minivans - contrary to most cars, you can actually use your laptop comfortably in those. I also LOVE the Safrane, it rides so smoothly you can actually write during a ride in Warsaw. |

Who owns a Safrane? |

At least one guy with Ele and I've seen a few others serving in other corporations. A terribly underrated car, and a great taxi! |

I also like it, but never have any experience with one as taxi. |
