![]() ![]() http://www.coachbuilt.com/bui/m/moller_mp/moller_mp.htm That being said, we do have M.P. Moller as a make on this site. Should we call it M.P. Moller (with Diamont T inserted somehow) or Diamont T (with M.P. Moller as a coachbuilder?) ? /vehicles.php?make=M.P.+Moller&model= |

The question is not a problem, since the convention on coachbuilt vehicles is chassis maker followed by body builder. It doesn’t matter if the chassis builder also does bodies, or the coachbuilder knocks out a few chassis from time to time. Take the Leyland bus. Leyland built both chassis and bodies, so you could have Leyland/Leyland, Leyland/Duple, or whatever. In this case I would suggest “Diamond T/M P Moller” is the way to go. |

I suppose you're right. Looking at M.P. Moller's model list, there is no model which they themselves built after 1931, so I guess these were specially built, in small numbers, for some taxicab firms. The only reference I can find (apart from that pic) of Diamond T in that link: -- Last edit: 2020-01-16 23:54:04 |
