1970s Mini Mk3 with 10" wheels which has been slightly tweaked. Unusual side indicators, similar to made-for-I spec after 1976 (when Italy got UK Minis again after Innocenti collapse) and rarely used elsewhere. Leyland bonnet badge seen in other pics means before Oct 80, black grille (if genuine - badge in grille is on wrong side) was 1977+, seems to have 76+ reversers. Chrome mirrors and side window trim suggest 1000 rather than 850. So 1977-80 Mini 1000 with Made for EU should be safe. |

Digging a bit further, the grille badge is now legible as Special (but still in the wrong place). Some Seneffe builds for EU had the side indicators, such as the 1978 1100 Special but that had a vinyl roof and a bit more luxury in the interior; there was a 1000 Special built for F in mid-80s, but this still smells a few years too early. Black bumpers and rear plate light were more 1980s features, usually found on 85+ cars with 12" wheels. No knowledge of Minis being sold in CZ in late 70s, so likely an arrival from elsewhere. So adding Seneffe build, but not convinced it's really a Special. |
