(01:32:52) 1977+ door handles. And no particular detail to say if it has a particular trim level, so the generic R127 code should be used. => 1977 Renault 20 [R127] |

This "detail", which with the new pic is better visible, are perhaps the headrests. My guess is that it was extra option (or standard equipment) first in the [R1272](in TS and LS in other words), question is since when it had them? In 1978 and 1980 brochure we see R20s without headrests, but on 1979 promo pic LS have them. The interior was changed in 1980/1981, but in headrests design I don't see eany notable difference. |

Might these pics help? (01:32:58 // 01:32:59 // 01:33:46) -- Last edit: 2014-04-26 01:14:56 |

To me these are pre-1981 seats. Were all the RTL's Renaults identical (made according to some one specification) back then? Curious can it be the same car (which is '79-'80 TS/R1272): /vehicle_22600-Renault-18-X34-1978.html |

Good question. Is there anybody that can answer to it? Seems indeed to have the same body painting and the same mess on the roof... |

To be honest I'm somehow sure it is the very same car, but that's not yet a reason to rename it. |
