Take a 250Kg, 90bhp motorcycle (that notoriously doesn't handle) and bolt on a large turbo so it delivers 130bhp, all at once. Don't do anything to the motor other than the turbo, no welded crank, no uprated valve springs or clutch, no lower compression, nothing.... So as well as wanting to kill you on every corner, it wants to explode every time you use full boost. A local bloke bought one new in 1980, beautiful bike but it travelled more miles by train than it ever did on the road, back to Daytona Kawasaki in London for a series of engine rebuilds. |
