 Just allowing more than one picture per car, having extra images shown on the right or bottom of main pic as thumbs. I do not know yet, that will be for later.

 Es ist ein sog. SALZGITTER-JEEP der AWS Automobilwerke Salzgitter, 1948-1950. Vermutlich gesponsort durch AWS, siehe BN-Zonenkennzeichen.
Its a so-called SALZGITTER-JEEP, made between 1948-1950 at AWS AUTOMOBILWERKE SALZGITTER, using surplus Jeep. Known are extended wheelbase "woody" wagon and panel vans. Plans for pickup variants were made. Often seen in traffic scenes in postwar German movies but hard to find on photos. The Berlin Fire Dept. used some as fire command cars and ambulances. The one in the Schwarzwald-movie was perhaps sponsored by AWS, see BN occupation zone licence plates.

Im WWW... finden sich einige Hinweise zur den AWS. Auch Bilder zum AWS Jeep und dem Elsbeth Wagen des AWS.
