Can I ask, how do you know that? Is there a reference link somewhere about this movie and the vehicles which have been featured here? That would be an interesting and valuable information to share it here ![]() |

I have no idea, I've collected notes on this and that as long as I can remember, but only recently (20 years ago or so) came to think that it might sometimes be very useful to even have a faint idea where that piece of information initially came from. Movies with cars have drawn attention of car guys since day #1 and there has been a lot of talk about them. Most likely I've written these notes down at a time when I had no idea whatsoever, what kind of movies we were really talking about - in hope that with a little luck local network might one fine day show some of them in the afternoon hours (cheap!). I remember there was awful lot of fuzz about the movie "Never Steal Anything Small", and most people were sure that the Ferrari was owned by James Cagney himself. It took many many years before someone invented Youtube, and then some before someone else loaded the scene up, so now we know they were looking at a brand new car recently imported (LCM imported 5 or 6 such cars). Sometimes it feels that things may be getting a little too easy for us... In those days internet - if you were priviledged as a University student to have an account - came with no pictures and if you wished to see some, you had to go to the library and look at a book or a magazine of your choise - and if you had questions you needed to contact someone in the know - i.e. pick up the phone book, dial a number, introduce yourself and hope that he doesn't hang up when he realizes that some jerk is on the phone, wasting your precious time asking stupid questions about some stupid car :-) Sorry for the rambling. -- Last edit: 2020-02-19 17:23:13 |
