It has a special, experimental, blinking breaking lights (though not sure if it was made by a car producer). -- Last edit: 2007-10-25 20:52:53 |

It's a circa 1972 Ford Torino Country Squire |

It's actually a 1970-71 Torino Country Squire like this: http://mclellansautomotive.com/photos/B29233.jpg |

Just Torino Squire, only LTDs got the Country moniker. And I agree with car_nerd about this being a '72. The taillights are too tall to be a '70/'71, they should look like ones this '70 Ranchero: www.walt-n-anne.com/images/Ranchero/rr_large.jpg -- Last edit: 2008-06-09 02:47:43 |

Like I said several years ago, that is NOT a 1972 Ford Torino Country Squire but a 1970-71. I wish people would back up their claims with images to verify them like I do. So once again... ![]() A 1972-73 Ford Gran Torino wagon has rear lamps that curve inward at the top like this one. The rear bumper also has a much stronger upward curve on each corner compared to earlier models. ![]() ..while the 1970-71 rear lamps are more or less vertical and the rear bumper is nearly flat.. ![]() ..and 1968-69 models are very similar to 1970-71 but have different trim and reverse lamps. Going by the shape of the rear lights and bumper, the wagon originally shown is a 1970-71 model. -- Last edit: 2011-04-23 23:12:01 |

Should be just "Torino Squire", no "Country". |
