They cost that much only at this dealer - in Europe they are becoming a bit more expensive, but you still can find such low mileage grampa-cars for low prices. The Overseas transport cost not much and for classic cars there are much less regulations, so when you look by yourself, you will save a lot of money. -- Last edit: 2020-02-10 19:12:07 |

Where are the US-Trabants from? A lot are from Hungary. Cheaply sourced. P.S: Those prices are insane. |

The owner of AlphaCars seems to be a collector of Soviet cars who is selling off most of his collection. https://www.alphacars.com/alphacars-collection-in-new-england https://youtu.be/lyrc_dNPqM4 I wonder if some of the cars will be bought by picture car rental companies. -- Last edit: 2020-02-10 20:15:56 |

Quite likely - real private enthusiasts and collectors have their own connections and sources. They have no reason to pay that grotesque prices. |

67 year old Bentley with only 5 owners from new? The current owner has owned the car for 36 of those years. -- Last edit: 2020-02-10 22:24:04 |

Smart buyers check the different situations between the fan scenes in different countries. In countries, where specific cars have a cult status -often local brands- these models are more expensive. Otherwise the choice is bigger and less popular versions are cheaper. On the other hand in a neighbour country this model may not that popular, so harder to find, but cheaper to get. As here in the EU there are no import/export taxes or other border-crossing problems, we have a perfect situation for car connaisseurs: we can dig and hunt for precious items everywhere |

what's up with that? 5 owners would be still o.k., if more, it becomes suspicious. |

Nothing, I hope, as the last name is mine. |
