I would call this a Made for Movie M1 Abrams, since it clearly is not the real thing. |

Looks like its possibly a Patton-series tank with modifications. |

I agree. Also, I'll agree with lkchild that this is a Centurion tank, since this is what most, if not all, fake Abrams tanks are. |

Looking at G-MANN's website link there, the tanks they have look like Chieftains. From a higher angle you can see the ridge around the drivers hatch. |

Actually, though Army Trucks Inc was involved this is actually a tank they don't own, it's the Centurion from Courage Under Fire. You can tell because the fume extractor is about halfway down the gun rather than two thirds (AT Inc's Chieftains have to cover up their real fume extractor, which is there) and the driver's hatch is in line with the headlamp rather than in the middle; it also has a fake roadwheel on one side of the turret which the AT Inc tanks don't. http://www.imfdb.org/images/d/da/C2G_36.jpg From this angle you can also see it doesn't have the V-shaped splash guard on the hull front, compare: /vehicle_132920-Vickers-Armstrong-FV-4201-Chieftain.html (AT Inc Chieftain) /vehicle_272425-Vickers-Armstrong-Centurion.html (Courage under fire Centurion) |
