If it's two cars, both is '86 with the "police handle" on the bootlid. |

"police handle" - I just got a nasty idea about the use for it. In my former home-town Hannover was a small scandal a time ago. Two policemen had arrested a junkie, who was ill with scabies. They clicked him with the handcuffs at the doorhandles -the outer ones!- and brought him (slowly) to the arrest. A lot of people were upset about this way of treating. My brother-in-law, a police-officer, told me, that he would made it in the same way, reason "Do you know, what trouble I'll have with the contaminated car after he was sitting in it? And how many tax-money we need for the cleaning? I prefer to be the named "cruelst cop in town" by the local newspaper than to get the trouble with my car." Am I right about the meaning of the "police handle"? -- Last edit: 2007-10-30 17:36:02 |

If you look close, you can see that the cabriolet has one "black thing" above its licenseplate while the one with roof has two. Whith black thing i mean the holder of the light witch lights up the licensplate when it is dark. They probably changed the licensplates on the cars. |

It is still there, look at the "U" in MUB326, it's hanging by its wire. I had a 240 and it used to do the same thing when driving fast over bumps and such, it is hold with clips that is not very good. The buper is the same the white part seems grey in the main images, problobly because of a shadow or something. |

Hi all! It is I who owns this car and I can probably solve many of your questions. I bought the car by the film company RiddarFilm AB and has renovated it up ! It's just 1 car used for this movie and welding seams can be seen around the inside of the roof after they welded it there again, reason for that be two different spoilers in the front is that it broke during a shot the car can be seen and followed on this page:http://www.garaget.org/?car=179331 -- Last edit: 2011-01-26 18:04:56 |

As been written above, the car is alive and has during the last two months been participating in a new production for the first time in 20 years. One can also see a short clip of it by clicking here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YHdDbLKK5eg |
