Somehow, I don't think the tractor is a Ford though. Maybe something built by IHC? |

Yes. Clearly not. The F-4 is a 1-ton truck with a 134" / 3.40 m wheelbase... This truck is more likely a heavy-duty model (1½-ton F-5 / 2-ton F-6 with the 158" / 4.01 m wb) or an extra heavy-duty one (2½-ton F-7 / 3-ton F-8 with the 159" / 4.04 m wb or the 195" / 4.95 m one). I'm really not good at estimating wheelbase lengths in pictures, but I'd say that this one sounds like the longest one (195"), and the ground clearance of this truck seems also to be the one of an extra heavy-duty model. But it's just a feeling... → F-Series by default? |
