I apologise and took my old books to learn. The story is a bit complicated In 1949 the basic version was called "Standard" and the premium onr "Custom". in 1950 the word De Luxe was added to both, so the former became "De Luxe" and the latter "Custom De Luxe". Oddly the 1951 best equipped one shifted back to the "Custom" label but the economic version was still named "De Luxe". I was wrong and I learned. |
