Maybe, Mercedes-Benz LPS 1923 (was '1923' used in semi-trucks ? It's written on the subject vehicle's doors ) with an israeli-spec Leyland front fascia attached to it?? The way that front fascia is attached onto the cab (see the third thumb pic), I think this is just a made-for-movie cosmetic camouflage with a made up name. |

Would have been interesting, to have such a 'Kurzhauber' like BüSSING Commodore S210. In Germany there only have been 1623, but as it is Export version semi truck 1923, most evident by heavy duty Trilex wheels! |

My theory is that the film director wanted to use an actual MB LPS without any frontal modifications, but someone at MB must have read the script where it's said that the truck gets stuck in the sand for half an hour, and thought: "nah, you are not going to make our trucks look bad in this movie", so they probably decided to use some creativity by faking the front and using a made-up truck name. |
