It belongs to Forssells Kranservice Älvsbyn with telephon number 0929-20037 according to the stickers on the side.

 Yes, that is a Volvo logo (4th thumbnail)

 Yes, it's a Volvo logo, you can clearly see the iron symbol. Either this crane is powered by a Volvo engine or the owner wanted to pimp it with a Volvo sticker, that's not unheard of. As far as I know there is no Volvo BM cranes.

Indeed, the only Volvo cranes I found are based on commercial Volvo trucks

that's why I think a good idea to try the suggestion made to you... :) cos I myself I am quite curios what this thing is
