I don’t think that this car has been anywhere near Abingdon, so there. |

It is supposed to look like a TD from the back, but that car was not, according to Graham Robson, produced with wire wheels. The TF was, but the radiator is too upright. The spindly wheels would suggest a TC, but none was ever built by the factory with left hand drive. It appears to have ifs, the TC didn’t. Any ideas? |

I've found this but not 100% sure: https://www.flickr.com/photos/hugo90/4586032420 Link to "www.autopasion18.com" Can't find a good rear view which would help for referencing. |

Agree it looks nearly right, but not quite. The wheels just don't fit - are they disc brakes?? Lots of nice detail for dash and windscreen, but looks modern safety switches. TC or TD Replica??? |

It is very well executed, no doubt, I was impressed by the dashboard in particular, even allowing for its mirror image, but it is a TD layout I think. There’s always something wrong with these replicas, but on the other hand if you like the car, why not. The only time these thing get up my nose is when somebody tries to misrepresent them as original. There seem to be no seat belts, you wouldn’t want to nut that wiper motor! -- Last edit: 2020-04-22 13:35:03 |

MG unknown is wrong, it should be “Unknown Replica”. MG it ain’t. |

Now that I can see it on the proper monitor, I'm abandoning the AR-50 suggestion. Here's a clearer picture of the car from a promo shot:![]() I reckon the inspiration is an earlier model than a TD. |

Front could go back as far as TA, or maybe TB or TC, all of which had wires. But as jfs said some way above, flowing rear is very TD-ish (which had disc wheels). So a spirit-of-replica rather than exact. Maybe TC the most likely version to inspire this hybrid?? |
