Although with two additional driving lamps, it seems to have the divided grille of a 1962+ Zephyr 6 MkIII. This estate body was a conversion by Abbott of Farnham and is sometimes called Farnham Estate. -- Last edit: 2007-11-11 03:16:18 |

All details agreed - this one is a Zephyr 6, although the Abbot conversions all started as Zodiac bodyshells due to the more suitable C-pillar arrangement. About 4350 Mk3 estate Zephyrs and Zodiacs were made and offered through Ford dealers as normal Ford models. Abbot also did the Mk2 estates (5643 made) and Mk4s (possibly about 2100 total). |
