And the white on the left side can be a real "Ferguson" (with the "Baawuush") ![]() |

If it was filmed in North America, this one would actually be a Rabbit |

To recognize by the two toilets, too. This shape was never sold in Europe. |

I'm wondering a bit about the Golf/Rabbit. It has the "late" backlamps (1981+), but round headlamps. Didn't the US-Rabbit always had the small rectangular sealed-beam-lamps? |

Isn't it a GTI? It has the grille with chromed edges and widenend wheelacrhes... |

The chromed edges weren't typical for the GTI, the older Golfs had them. So this doesn't really fit to the big back lamps. But perhaps someone has mounted an older front of that late version. Golf I-owners do this sometimes. |

I think they used 2 different cars. The main pic is definitely a 1975-78 US spec "Rabbit" (side markers and large steel bumper) while the other is a post 1981 non US spec Golf 1. |

I can't find any proof at the moment, but I think I recognise the bridge in the main picture from films made in Los Angeles. So it's likely that the main picture is in Los Angeles and the thumbnail is in Czechoslovakia. ![]() |
