FPA 205B was a much raced/rallied Austin Cooper S 1275 in late 60s as private entrant in various big events - apparently including 1966 Monte, 1967 and 1968 Marathon de La Route - in both these MdlRs the crew were Moss/Blackburn/Silverthone (another Moss, not Stirling) but did not have #52. As we have some footage from 69 MdlR, seems likely this is same car/team again despite not being listed in the incomplete records which has 4 Cooper S with unknown details (all DNF) and no other car with #52. This is a photo of FPA 205B at the 1968 MdlR, with similar added front bits. |
