This is most likely mongrel, it has grille used till 1961, but also 1961+ tailfins. Such bumper was used in Felicias since summer 1959 (not sure did they count this as model 1960), but bumper can be not original as well and this way it can be even customized 1958 450... Officially taillfins and new, different grille were part of the same 1961 facelift, however I'm curious could they make series of interim cars with new tailfins and old grille. There are recent(!) pics of more such cars in the web and I even own 1:43 scale model with tailfins and old grille. On the other hand both - 1:1s and 1:43s - can be also easily incorrect reconstructions/reproductions... EDIT! - pardon - the white thing at rear fender is rather not badly painted tailfin, but just roadside behind the car  In such case it is summer 1959+ Felicia without any doubts and extra complications.Anyway I'll keep my thoughts about the possible interim tailfined Felicias, even if they are not related anymore to this particular car. -- Last edit: 2020-05-04 19:12:03 |
