Or, possibly a 25/30. |

In the movie they mention a 1938 Wraith but not sure if it actually is one. Also found these that have other names like Hooper or Touring Saloon. /vehicle_517639-Rolls-Royce-Wraith-WEC42-1938.html /vehicle_407392-Rolls-Royce-Wraith-WEC42-1938.html /vehicle_660488-Rolls-Royce-Wraith-WEC31-1939.html /vehicle_35288-Rolls-Royce-Wraith-WLB22-1939.html |

May I offer a little help? Rolls-Royce did not make car bodies of any sort until 1946. They made chassis complete with all mechanical units and scuttles, which they supplied to coachbuilders for a body to be created and fitted. The firm of Hooper was one of many such, and if you look at the Rolls-Royce Enthusiasts Club website you will find other names. https://rrec.org.uk/ A touring saloon is just the name of a type of body, like convertible, or drop head coupé, and is a description not part of the car’s name normally. The other detail “WEC” etc is the chassis number of the vehicle, which you quote when buying spare parts. Link to "www.worthpoint.com" Look at the 4th thumbnail for an idea of what Royce’s supplied to the coachbuilder. A selection of 1930s Rolls-Royce cars. All bodies made by coachbuilders. https://classics.honestjohn.co.uk/cars-for-sale/search/Rolls-Royce/decade-1930/ -- Last edit: 2020-05-13 21:05:33 |

My view is that it is a 1938 Wraith, but I would not bet the farm on it. The coachwork is also a further problem, I am happier with either Bentleys, or post WW2 Rolls-Royces. |

This is from the last episode of season 2. I keep looking at it thinking it's a similar body shape, but not the same Rolls. Just wanted to see if i'm wrong or not.![]() ![]() ![]() |

Ep2.10 is a deliberate lookalike - wire wheels as it's loaded into the crusher, no front quarterlights, and I don't think I see semaphores on b-pillar. |

Why would you put the front door hinges on the leading edge of the door where the handle is? |
◊ 2020-08-25 16:17 |
Two cars in the thumbs actually. First and second thumbs look like something about 1933-35 and the other - Packard? |

They relocated the door handles to match the real Rolls. |

Exactly, emphasising that they didn’t squash the genuine article. |

Stunt double in 2.10 should probably get its own listing. -- Last edit: 2020-08-26 00:31:59 |

“Initially, we had one Wraith that we found in Canada, and it was black and yellow. We had to restore the paint job and completely redo the interior of the car. We got a second Wraith as kind of a backup Wraith. And then, we bought a bunch of Wraith parts that we stuck on, I think it was a Ford, to free what we call our stunt Wraith."
