It seems http://www.allpar.com/cars/adopted/farmobil.html it might have been developed by Fahr in Germany, but the manufacturing took place in Thessalonika, Greece, between 1962 and 1966, by Farco, sometimes owned by Chrysler. Although, I'd imagine, this particular car most likely (filming took place on the Canary Islands, Spain) is of Greece origin (Quote) "The Farmobil was also sold in Austria and Switzerland by Steyr, under their own name, and in Germany, Italy, and other markets by BMW, under their own name." -- Last edit: 2013-12-26 14:06:36 |
