Mid-1960's B-Series, from what I can see. |

With early Thomas Saf-T-Liner body (1962-1965ish?) |

Probably a '66 judging by the rear end cap on the Thomas body. |

Not a B-Series bus (said to have been unveiled in 1966), with the 1962-66 hood and the 1964-66 grille. So, depending on the wheelbase, a Cxx02 or a Sxx02 school bus. A S-Series for sure if the wheelbase is longer than 175"/4.4 m (according to the 1961 brochure, it is the maximum wheelbase length of the school buses based on C-Series chassis of that era). If the 1966 rear end clue is sure, ⇒ 1966 Chevrolet C-Series Thomas Saf-T-Liner? ⇒ 1966 Chevrolet S-Series Thomas Saf-T-Liner? else: ⇒ 1964 Chevrolet C-Series Thomas Saf-T-Liner? ⇒ 1964 Chevrolet S-Series Thomas Saf-T-Liner? -- Last edit: 2015-01-19 23:22:14 |
